High Speed Rail Electricity Distribution
Sinopa Energy and BYSTRUP have teamed up to provide High-Speed rail electricity distribution lines in North America. The High-Speed T Mast reduces the overhead rail line to two elements: a triangular cable network carrying the power, and a T-shaped mast that supports twin systems serving adjacent tracks. With a single line of T masts between tracks, there are no masts forming an obtrusive barrier between the track edge and its surroundings.
Our staff is experienced and creative and works across borders to bring unique solutions to our clients’ needs. We are aware of the globally varying rules and requirements in high speed rail systems, that is why we specialize in tailoring our solutions for the individual client.
We offer a complete service solution where we guide our clients through the entire process from the initial discussions, via finished and tested prototypes, selection of the best contractor and right to the completion of the entire power line. Our designs are cost-efficient, aesthetic, and functionally optimized.
With our turn-key consulting approach, we can meet your specifications. Bystrup can modify one of their existing high-speed T mast designs or design a totally new mast, including all the technical design and detailed drawings to fit your needs. We can appoint or work with a North American manufacturer to build a prototype, the existing pylon or the entire line.
Our typical time line to accomplish for a high-speed T mas project is within 18-36 months depending on the project arrangement.
Our combined services include:
Detailed design
- Technical design
- Static and dynamic analysis
- Foundation type analysis and dimensioning
- Maintenance principles in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Material analysis: deploying best-in-class/optimized Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
- Project costs estimates and project administration
The Sinopa/Bystrup team takes care of project development and engineering support related to routing, site selection and environmental authorizations.
We also guide and advise, in coordination with government agencies, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and other stakeholders, in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, landscape analysis and visualization of lines in vulnerable areas.
We equally propose to participate actively in meetings with locals and user-groups, presenting these findings in a transparent process to ensure greater public understanding and approval.
